MEET HOLLIE OF FARM1120

From five chickens to a homestead dream.

For Hollie, the dream of homesteading started long before Farm1120 ever had a name. She had always imagined a life filled with gardens, animals, homemade food, and the simple joys of making things from scratch. But it wasn't until she met her husband that the dream started to feel possible.

It all began in a rental home on half an acre when her brother brought over five chickens. Five chickens quickly turned into a growing flock, her husband built her very first garden, and Hollie found herself spending hours learning everything she could about the homestead lifestyle.

And somewhere along the way, she discovered sourdough.

What started as something a little intimidating eventually became second nature. After years of practice, Hollie jokes that she could practically bake sourdough in her sleep.

Today, Farm1120 is a little piece of that dream brought to life.

GOOD FOOD. SIMPLE INGREDIENTS. MADE WITH CARE.

At the heart of Farm1120 is something simple: Hollie believes in making good food with simple ingredients.

As a stay-at-home mom who enjoys cooking and baking her family's meals, she wanted to share a little of that homemade goodness with the people around her. Her sourdough isn't something that's rushed. From tending the starter to preparing the dough and baking each loaf, the process takes time, patience, and a whole lot of practice.

In fact, a sourdough order takes at least 48 hours from start to finish. It's the kind of care you don't always see when picking up a loaf of bread, but it's part of what makes homemade sourdough special.

MORE THAN JUST SOURDOUGH.

While sourdough may be what first introduces you to Farm1120, it's only one small part of Hollie's bigger dream.

As a wife, mom, and aspiring homesteader, Hollie is building something she hopes will grow right alongside her family and community.

Beyond the bread, Farm1120 is a growing homestead with chickens, quail, gardens, and plans for fruit trees, berry bushes, and goats. Hollie dreams of eventually sharing more of what their farm produces, from fresh eggs and homegrown goods to handmade products inspired by life on the homestead.

The goal isn't simply to sell sourdough. It's to build a homestead that can give back to the community in all sorts of ways.

And while there's plenty she hopes to grow and create, Hollie's favorite part of it all is the people.

Meeting new faces, connecting with neighbors, and building relationships throughout the community have become some of the most rewarding parts of her journey.

And the moment she realized her little business was really working?

When customers started coming back.

Because there's something pretty special about someone enjoying what you've made enough to come back for more.

Farm1120 may have started with five chickens and a loaf of sourdough, but there's a whole lot more growing behind the scenes.
